Pickup from Chandigarh Airport and drive to Manali crossing visit Mandi and Kullu town. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Today we visit Hidimba Mandir – set amidst the snow-covered hills of Manali, this temple is a unique shrine dedicated to Hidimba Devi and Himalayan Nyinmapa Tibetan Buddhist Monastery – known for its architectural beauty. Later we enjoy a scenic walk along the riverside. In the evening we have free time for shopping.
Today we proceed to Solang Valley – a splendid valley in Solang village offering magnificent views of the glaciers and snow-capped mountains. Here we enjoy a Ropeway ride and admire the Himalayan mountains. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like Paragliding, Biking, Trekking, and Hiking at an additional cost. Later we proceed to Jispa via the new tourist hotspot Atal Tunnel (Subject to Operation) – the world's longest tunnel at an altitude of 10,040 feet.
Today we proceed to Sarchu - An important stopover on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Sarchu offers an amazing view of nature and the great Himalayan range.
Morning after breakfast check out from the camp and drive to Leh over Lachang La (5065 m) and Tanglang La (5360 m). On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Today we visit Shey Palace – used to be the summer retreat of the royal family of Ladakh, Sindhu Darshan - one of the longest rivers in Asia, Rancho School - also known as Druk White Lotus School, Hall of Fame War Museum – a museum constructed by the Indian Army in memory of the brave Indian soldiers who laid down their lives defending the motherland in the Indo-Pak wars, Shanti Stupa – built by the Japanese monks to promote world peace. Later we have free time for shopping.
Today we proceed to Nubra Valley via Khardung La - the world’s highest motorable pass. Nubra valley - the Shyok River meets the Siachen River to form this large valley separating the Ladakh and Karakoram ranges. Upon arrival, we visit Diskit monastery – the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery in Nubra valley. Later we visit Hunder Village and Cold desert - the only place in India where twin humped camels are found.
Today we proceed to Pangong Tso, also known as Pangong Lake - one of the world's highest saltwater lakes. The most notable feature of this lake is its ever-changing hues. The lake acts as an important breeding ground for a large variety of migratory birds like Brahmani Ducks, Rare black-necked cranes, and Seagulls. Later we proceed to Leh via Changla pass, one of the highest motor-able roads in the world. The name Changla pass literally means "Northern Pass" (Chang means north and La means Pass). En route we visit Hemis Gompa – a Himalayan Buddhist monastery which is believed to be the wealthiest and the biggest monastery in Leh and Photo stop at Thiksey monastery.
Today we Patthar Sahib Gurudwara - a beautiful Gurudwara sahib constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, Magnetic Hill – also known as Gravity Hill where vehicles defy the force of gravity, Sangam of the rivers Indus & Zanskar – two of Himalaya's great rivers; Zanskar and Indus merge to form a spectacular view. In the evening, we enjoy the folk dance show.
After breakfast, proceed to Kargil. En route, enjoy the breath-taking scenery from the view Point. Via Lamayuru (approx. 130 kms.) circuit, famous for the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining 'Moonland' features. After Visit the Mulbek Buddha Statue. After hotel check-in in Kargil, visit the Kargil War memorial in Drass
It was in this very region in which the Indian Army fought and won the famous war of Kargil. Take some memorable snaps of Tololing, Tiger Hill and the war memorial.
Return to Kargil . Overnight stay in KargilAfter having breakfast Then we visit Mulbekh Monastery. Further, we take a photo stop of Tiger Hill and Tololing Peak and proceed to Sonmarg via Zozila Pass here we get mesmerized with the views of Drass Valley.
Today we explore Sonmarg – The meadow of gold. Those who are with adventure spirit can experience thrilling activities like horse riding, fishing, and skiing (On your own). Later we proceed to Srinagar-
Today we enjoy a small Trek to Shankaracharya Hill followed by the iconic Shikara ride at Dal Lake. Later visit the Char Chinar Island and click photographs in colorful Kashmiri outfits (at your own cost). Further, we enjoy a Speed boat ride in Dal Lake. Further, we visit Nishat Baug – a terraced Mughal garden. Tall chinar trees and colorful flowers adorn the lush green landscape of this garden that also has several beautiful fountains. Followed by a visit to Shalimar Baug - a Mughal garden built by Mughal Emperor Jehangir for his beloved wife Nur Jahan, around 400 years back. In the evening we have some free time for shopping
